SCHOOL VISITS
I used to work as a school librarian so I love to talk to children about writing and reading books. If you’d like to talk to me about visiting your school, library, or parent/teacher group please contact me a k.d.huxman@att.net. A quick 30 minute read and Q&A session is free at this time. These sessions are fun for me and the students. A separate page with details about school visits is in the works.

SIGNINGS AND SUCH
April 2o-22, 2012 - I’ll be attending the 20th annual Pikes Peak Writer’s Conference here in Colorado Springs. I’m not a featured speaker this year but hope to mix and mingle with the marvelous faculty and other writers attending. If you’re going to be there, please say hi. 
April 14, 2012 – I’ll be making my annual visit to the Pikes Peak Library District’s Mountain of Authors event at the East library from noon to 6 or so. Hope you’ll stop by and say hello if you’ll be there. I’ll have copies of Grizzelda Gorilla and Dragon Talk for signing and for sale.
